From January 22 to 25, Riccione hosted an important gathering and training opportunity for the ABF Voices Of program, bringing together choir team members from the various international communities where the Andrea Bocelli Foundation operates: Uganda, Haiti, the Holy Land, the Rione Sanità district of Naples, and Camerino.
The initiative provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen teamwork and enhance the educational and musical skills of the coordinators and instructors involved, in preparation for the first ABF Voices of Global Gathering, scheduled to take place in Italy next July. The event will bring together, for an entire week, young talents from the different ABF Voices Of choirs, offering them a unique experience of connection, personal growth, and sharing through the universal language of music.
Hosted in the seaside city of Riccione, the training program included sessions focused on education, choral conducting, and piano accompaniment, led by Maestros Manolo Da Rold, Fabio Pecci, and Alessio Nelli. The program also featured opportunities for reflection and discussion led by actress Sonia Antinori and psychologist and psychotherapist Michele Vanzini, with the aim of strengthening the relational, educational, and inclusive dimensions that characterize the project.
The training concluded with a final concert featuring Coro Le Allegre Note, Le Allegre Note Young, and Note in Crescendo, celebrating through music the value of bringing together people, cultures, and diverse experiences.
Held under the patronage of the Municipality of Riccione, the initiative represents another important step in the growth of ABF Voices Of, a program that promotes talent, listening, and community building through choral practice.
